Year 4 received a plea from Boggis, Bunce and Bean to help them catch that dreaded fox, who has been stealing all their produce. Of course, Elm and Beech Class rose to the challenge and designed some amazing alarms to catch the fox, using their knowledge of circuits and switches. They have since been busy using their powers of persuasion to create a poster advert to sell their designs and their script writing skills to make a video advert as well. We are all looking forward to filming our adverts and evaluating their effectiveness. In Maths, we have continued to develop our understanding of fractions and decimals as well as enjoying maths week with activities linked to 100. We all went into the hall and had to find 100 of various categories – we managed to find 100 animals, 100 girls names and 100 boys names. The categories we found hardest were authors and countries. Could you name 100 authors or 100 countries?
