We have been learning about magnets in science. Magnets have a north and a south which are traditionally coloured blue and red. The children were fascinated watching the forces in action.
Iesha said, “The poles are different so these magnets will attract.”
Ashley said, “These magnets will repel because they have to have different colour ends.”
Christopher said,” The magnets will attract because the colours are different.”
The children have enjoyed finding out whether magnets still work under water and working out how strong the magnet is by seeing how many paper clips they can hold.
