Another busy fortnight has whizzed past and everyone is about ready for a half term break!
Thank you to those of you who have taken the time to speak to either myself or Mr Jess about the Progress Review Report that we sent to you on Monday 16th May. It means a great deal to us that you recognise and appreciate the changes that are happening within our school, thank you.
In previous newsletters we have shared with you the Learning Powers work that we have been using with the children over the past term and a half. This is part of our Growth Mindset initiative where we focus on improvements and how to grow our brains over time. Now, we have a stunning display in the entrance hall to complement this work. The mastermind behind this wonderful artwork is Mrs Webb! Yes, you may have thought Mrs Webb had retired. However, Mrs Webb joins us regularly and has been working with year 1—6 children as part of our Summercroft Time to build this work of art over the past 4 weeks. Isn’t it amazing?
In addition, we have finally received the lettering to accompany the ‘Wall of Excellence’ in the Junior Building to exemplify our high expectations across a range of curriculum areas. Well done to Hiba (N), Clover (yr1), Myah (yr2), Oscar (yr4), Jesamine (yr5), Joshua and Ben (yr6) who have all had their work displayed in celebration of their achievements!
Have a wonderful half term holiday.
