Oak and Holly classes have been continuing with our exciting theme of ‘Dragons’ and have had great fun writing our own poems about using similes and rhyming pairs.
In design technology and computing we have painted pictures of our dragons and designed dragon eyes through collages before modelling them with clay.
In maths we have been using concrete apparatus to subtract numbers and using inverse number sentences to help work out missing number problems.
In science we have been continuing our learning into humans and animals and discovering how to keep ourselves healthy by eating a balanced diet and learning about the benefits of exercising through bingo!
We hope some of you will be able to join us for the ‘Dragon Showcase’ on Tuesday 16th October at 9.05am to see some of the children’s work this term and hear the children perform a poem about a naughty dragon!
