It has been a busy few weeks in Oak and Holly Classes, filled with discovery!
We have been getting to know each other and our teachers, whilst also discovering a new civilisation called Weslandia!
It is amazing how much learning we have achieved in such a short space of time. We have completed art activities such as weaving and collaging. We have written reports about flowers as well as designing our own flowers. In computing we designed Weslandian flags and in Maths we have sequenced patterns using flowers.
Last week we visited the Life Bus and explored our bodies, energy and feelings. We particularly enjoyed meeting Harold the giraffe!
This creative approach has stimulated the children’s imaginations and we have really enjoyed our learning so far!
