The children in Oak and Holly classes are enjoying being back at school and have been working hard on our new topic, ‘The Great Fire of London.’
We began our topic by looking at the diary of Samuel Pepys and have been using drama to support our writing. We have also used a text map to learn the diary entry by heart and have been enjoying adding some actions.
In Art we have created some amazing silhouette pictures of the fire and this week we have been busy making Tudor houses.
In Science we have been investigating the properties of different materials and asking questions to find out about how some materials can change.
